Don Davis was nominated by his student, Chris Petersen. Chris shared the following sentiment about Don and his support:
"At only 72 years of age, the RC flying bug bit me. I became a member of the Palomar RC Flyers club out of Fallbrook, CA as they offered flite training to members – which is how I met Don Davis. He took me through 'ground school' and the basics through all the maneuvers and safety requirements that were needed for 'graduation.' Don was incredibly patient and encouraging. Don changed my life! For me that’s one heck of a copilot!"
